Himachal invites Tata to set up industry
Shimla, Aug 24 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today invited Tata Motors to set up its unit in the state for manufaturing the world's cheapest car 'Nano'.
Mr Dhumal said that if Tata Group liked to set up industry in Himachal Pradesh, the state would welcome it with its skilled manpower, sufficient power and peaceful environment, which are already drawing many major industries to the hill state.
He said that any entrepreneur can avail the opportunity of special package to set its industrial unit in Himachal Pradesh.
He, however, stressed that the state would like to have environment-friendly industry and state demands 70 per cent employment guarantee from investor.
