Ranchi, Aug 24 (UNI) BJP leader Yashwant Sinha today said Governor Syed Sibtey Razi should invite the NDA leaders to form a new government as they (NDA partners) are the largest conglomeration in the Jharkhand assembly.

The NDA has 33 legislators comprising BJP (29) and JD-U 4 in the 82-member House. One seat is vacant after murder of Ramesh Singh Munda (JD-U).

However, five of the BJP members have been suspended due to anti-party activities.

The NDA held an emergency meeting after chief minister Madhu Koda resigned yesterday.

BJP vice president Yashwant Sinha told reporters here that governor Syed Sibtey Razi should invite the NDA in keeping the spirit of the constitution in mind.

Mr Sinha said the President's rule should be the last option as the political parties should explore all means to form a government for the interest of the people.

The NDA had earlier demanded fresh poll immediately after the JMM withdrew support to the Madhu Koda-led UPA governemnt on August 17.

The JMM has the strength of 17 with backing from RJD (7 MLAs) and Congress (9 MLAs).

Meanwhile, JVM (Democratic) today took out a rally demanding a fresh poll.
