Three killed, one seriously injured in road accident

Aurangabad, Aug 23 (UNI) At least three members of a family were killed and another was seriously injured in a road accident near here.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Anjani Kumar Sinha said here today that the mishap took place late last night when a private vehicle collided with a stationary truck on National Highway two near Barun in this South Bihar district.

While two passengers, including the car owner, died on the spot, another succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.

A woman passenger, who was seriously injured, was admitted to a nearby hospital.

The vehicle was on way to Ranchi from Dehri-On-Sone when the accident occurred, Mr Sinha said.

Police later seized both the vehicles and lodged an FIR in the local police station.
