Jammu, Aug 23 (UNI) The two rounds of dialogue between the Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangharsh Samiti (SAYSS) and the government representatives today ended on a positive note.

Four-member SAYSS team had two sittings with a penal set up by Governor N N Vohra to find out an amicable solution to the ongoing Amarnath land controversy.

''We are strict to our main demand of restoration of land to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) and are hopeful of positive outcome during next round of talks,'' Brig Suchet Singh, a member of SAYSS delegation, told reporters after the meeting.

''The dialogue with the Governor's panel started in congenial atmosphere. They tabled some of the proposals before us but it is too early to disclose them,'' he said Brig Singh, however, maintained that the SAYSS discussed nothing short of restoration of land to the SASB.

The four-member delegation of the SAYSS, led by Brig Singh, included Mr Tilak Raj Sharma, Mr Pawan Kohli and Mr Narinder Singh while the Governor's panel included Dr S S Bleoria, Prof Amitabh Mattoo, Vice-Chancellor of Jammu University Justice (Retd) G D Sharma, and Mr B B Vyas.
