HP gets light to moderate rainfall

Shimla, Aug 23 (UNI) Light to moderate rains hit Himachal Pradesh today.

Dharamshala with 28 mm rainfall was the wettest place in the state followed by Nahan seven mm, Shimla 3.3 mm and Kalpa two mm.

The minimum and maximum temperature in Shimla was recorded at 16 and 21.3 Degrees Celsius, Sundernagar 21.2 and 30.1 degrees, Bhuntar 20.3 and 25.5, Kalpa 10.2 and 19, Dharamshala 17.9 and 23.2, Solan 20.2 and 26, Mandi 22.2 and 29.2 and Una 21.6 and 30.4 degrees Celsius.

The met office has forecast rain and thundershowers in a few areas of the state during the next 24 hours.
