Dalit youth burnt alive, three held
Indore, Aug 23 (UNI) A dalit youth, who had been set on fire by some people at Loni village in Burhanpur district last night, today died of burn injuries at Maharaja Yashwantrao Hospital here, police said.
Arun alias Anna (20) had an argument with some people when he had gone to field to attend nature's call. They later areached his home, poured kerosene on him and set him on fire.
A case had been registered against 47 people, including seven named accused.
Inspector General of Police (Indore range) Anil Kumar told UNI that three people had been arrested so far.
According to Burhanpur police, Shriram alias Badu, Kishor Bajirao and Vijay Tukaram have been arrested in this connection.
