CN inaugurates seminar on national building code

Panaji, Aug 23 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Digambar Kamat today inaugurated a seminar on 'National Building Code' organised by the Institute of Engineers (India) at Dona Paula.

Speaking on the occasion, he stressed the need for a uniform regulation code for the construction industry to benefit the common man for building a safe and durable house of his own with limited income.

The seminar was aimed at promoting the science of engineering about structural safety aspects in construction sector and achieving planned and regulated development through a uniform regulatory code in the sector, accoding to chairman of the Institute in Goa Vaman Gaitonde.
