3 labourers run over by goods train

Bulandshehr, Aug 23 (UNI) Three labourers were crushed to death by a train, while working on a railway track in Kakauri area of Gautambuddha Nagar (Noida) today.

The deceased were identified as Suresh (32), Ravendra (22) and Raju (18), all residents of Chilla village in Banda.

Trio were labourers under the Railway contractor Nitin Shukla, The incident occurred while they were reparing the tracks.

In a bid to save themselves from an oncoming express train they jumped on the adjacent track and met the fatal end under a goods train, police said.
