Blasts near Pakistan ordnance plant kill 59
Wah, Aug 22, 2008: At least 59 people were killed and over 80 were injured in two suicide bomb blasts outside Pakistan"s main military arms factory in Wah Cantonment on Thursday, Aug 21.
The blasts occurred near the heavily guarded complex, the hub of Pakistan's defence industry where about 25,000 workers produce explosives, ordnance and weapons in about 15 factories. It was one of the deadliest bombings in Pakistan since militants began a campaign of violence a year ago.
