Precious metals rise: Bombay Bullion Assn

Mumbai, Aug 22: Both the precious metals rose today with Silver advancing by Rs 150 per kg and Gold by Rs 70 per ten gm from their last finish, on brisk buying support by jewellery makers in view of bullish global cues, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following were the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 21,135 (20,985) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 11,810 (11,740) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 11,880 (11,805).
