Micro Technologies enters Kenyan market

Mumbai, Aug 22: Micro Technologies, a global provider of security solution, has expanded its operations to Kenya. The company will provide a wide range of its security and life support solutions for vehicles, premises and mobile phones in the Kenyan market, a company release said today.

The company has tested its products for four months in the country with 11.44 million out of a population of 37 million using mobile phones. Kenya also has a high crime rate particularly in capital Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu and coastal beach resorts with car-theft being the most common.
