Maoist guerrillas gun down two people in Jehanabad

Jehanabad, Aug 22 (UNI) Maoist guerrillas today gunned down two notorious criminals on Anwa-Shahirabad road under Kanko police station area in extremists dominated Jehanabad district of Bihar.

Police said a group of extremists opened fire on a notorious criminal Lala yadav and his relative Jhaman Yadav on Anwa-Shahirabad road near the Kanko police station.

Both were on way to their village when the rebels opened fire on them leading to their death on the spot, police added.

Lala was returning to his village after being released from jail where he was lodged in connection with a criminal case pending against him, police said adding massive manhunt was launched in the area to nab the killers.
