Kashmiri Migrants hail CM for permitting building of houses
Dharamshala, Aug 22 (UNI) Kashmiri migrants today hailed Himachal Pradesh Government's decision to grant permissions to Kashmiri migrants living in the state for the last 15 years for purchase of residential land.
President of Himachal Pradesh Kashmiri Hindu Welfare Society Satish Bhat, today expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister Prof Prem Kumar Dhumal for accepting the demand of the society and granting permission to 15 families for purchasing land for their residential house.
Mr Bhat said that more than 26 Kashmiri migrant families had completed all formalities and had been awaiting permission from the Government for nearly five years despite consistent efforts.
Mr Satish Bhat said that there were number of such Kashmiri migrants staying here for the past more than 15 years, who also deserved to be given a go ahead for purchasing land to build a house.
