BJP's 'Jan Ashirwad Yatra' to start from Ujjain

Ujjain, MP, Aug 22 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan would launch 'Jan Ashirwad Yatra' on August 28 from the famous Mahekaleshwar temple here with the objective of seeking people's blessings for the upcoming assembly polls.

State BJP Vice-President Vijendra Singh Sisodia told reporters here that Mr Chouhan would start his 'yatra' in the form of a rally for Ratlam after performing worship at the temple.

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha L K Advani and senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu were expected to be present during the launch of the yatra.

The 35-day-yatra would traverse 4,000 km before culminating in the state capital on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on October 2. A 'mahakumbh' would be organised on the occasion.
