MP: Dr Verma to head Science Council

Bhopal, Aug 21: The state government has appointed Dr Pramod K Verma as Director General of Madhya Pradesh Science and Technology Council.

He replaces Dr Mahesh Sharma, who resigned, official sources said, adding at present Dr Verma was Professor of Applied Geology in Ujjain's Vikram University.

The departmental minister has also been appointed chairman of the council's executive committee in place of the Director General, the sources added.
