BJP activists court arrest on Amarnath issue

Hubli, Aug 21 (UNI)BJP volnteers today courted arrest after protesting against cancellation of land granted to Amarnath temple trust here today.

The members also picketed in front of Tahalisdar's office here under the leadership of Member of Parliament Pralhad Joshi and legislator Chandrakanth Bellad. They shouted slogans against the union Government for its 'appeasement policy' towards the minority community.

Addressing a gathering on this occasion, Mr Bellad alleged that the Union Government had not taken any clear stand in Amarnath land issue and urged the Prime Minister to view the issue objectively and restore the grant of land.
