Bank manager goes to jail for killing cashier

Sasaram, Aug 21 (UNI) A fast track court here today handed down a life term to a rural bank manager on charges of murdering a cashier three years ago.

The court also slapped a fine of Rs 5,000 on the convict.

The designated judge of the fast track court (II), A.D. Sharma, found Shiv Prasad Dubee, the manager of the rural bank in central Bihar, Mohania branch, guilty for killing the cashier on March 17,2005.

The manager was convicted on the basis of dying declaration of the deceased. Another accused in the case was acquitted.
