Acting Pak Prez Soomro says he can't play any role in restoration of sacked judges
Karachi, Aug 21 : Acting President of Pakistan Mohammadmian Soomro has said that it was not within the purview of his powers to play a role in the reinstatement of the sacked judges as he was in the office "temporarily".
"The reinstatement of the judges is an affair that is directly linked to the federal government and I have nothing to do with it," the Daily Times quoted him as telling reporters at the residence of a senior PML-N leader in the Sindh province.
Amid the reports of a change in the Sindh Governor, Soomro said that the prime minister had not advised him to replace the governor of any province, including that of Sindh.
