4 policemen, including DSP hurt in mishap

Ariyalur, Aug 21 (UNI) Four police personnel, including a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), were seriously injured when a car in which they were travelling dashed against a road side tree at Vilangudi village near here last night.

Police said a police team, including Mr Chinnaiah, DSP, was on their way to Jayankondam from here when the mishap occurred.

All the injured were admitted to a private hospital at Thanjavur.

The condition of Mr Chinnaiah was critical, police added.
