3 women drown while taking bath in sea

Visakhapatnam, Aug 21 (UNI) Three women were drowned when they went to take bath in the sea here today.

Police said four women, residents of Akkayyapalem area in the city, had gone to take a dip in the sea and offer prayer. One of them stood at the shore while the other three went into the water when the mishap occured.

According the police the deceased were identified as J Satyawathi (45), M Lakshmi Kantham (65) and K Kanakamahalakshami (25) belonging to one family.

The city police registered a case in this regard.
