Sudhir Tripathy new PS to Jharkhand Governor

Ranchi, Aug 20 (UNI) The Jharkhand government today shifted Home Secretary Sudhir Tripathy to the Raj Bhawan as Principle Secretary to Governor Syed Sibtey Razi.

Chief Minister Madhu Koda told reporters here that Mr Tripathy was transfered to the Raj Bhawan as his incumbent Amit Khare was sent on Central deputation.

To a query, Mr Koda said he had not received any official intimation from the Governor, objecting to the recent government decisions.

The state government was reduced to minority after the 17 MLAs of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha withdrew support from the UPA-backed Madhu Koda-led government.

Official surces said state Human Resources Development department secretary J B Tubid will hold the additional charge of the Home department.
