Mumbai, Aug 20: The spot rupee on Wednesday, Aug 20 resumed at a 17-month low at 43.70 against per US dollar from the previous day's close of 43.60 due to worries of capital outflow from bankers because of a token day's strike by all nationalised and foreign banks, dealers said.
Trading in forex market was closed on Tuesday, Aug 19 dollar in 17 months in the morning session on account of lack of fund outflow due to recent losses in the stock markets, a leading forex merchant pointed out.
