One labourer killed, another injured in wall collapse

Ludhiana, Aug 20 (UNI) A labourer was killed and another injured when the wall of the basement of a commercial building, under construction, collapsed near the local circuit house on Ferozpur road here this evening .

According to police sources, 12 labourers got trapped when the wall collapsed. However, ten of the labourers were rescued unhurt.

Two other labourers, who were rescued from the debris, were rushed to the civil hospital, where one of them succumbed to his injuries.

The police has registered a case and begun investigations.
