No downward pressure on pricing: Kris Gopalkrishnan
Bangalore, Aug 20: IT major Infosys Technologies COO Kris Gopalkrishnan on Wednesday, Aug 20 said there was no downward pressure on pricing due to appreciation of rupee value following slowdown in global economy.
In an informal chat with newspersons on the sidelines of announcement of the ''TiE Entrepreneurial Summit'' to be held here from December 16 to 18, he said ''rupee value is picking up and global economic condition though yet to recover fully, is not forcing to reduce the price.'' He said ''however, we have to keep close watch on micro economics as it may change any time. Sentiments in micro economics continue to be challenging. When turn around happens, it has to be watched.''
