Disciplinary action against striking PSEB employees: Ratra
Patiala Aug 20 (UNI) Disciplinary action would be taken against participants in the ''unjustified'' call for strike given by a section of PSEB employees unions against the ''much-needed Power reforms and some other issues not even remotely related to PSEB, the board Chairman Y S Ratra said here today.
''Proceeding on strike and starting agitation programmes was totally unjustified and uncalled for,'' Mr Ratra said in a press statement here adding that today's strike had virtually no impact in PSEB Secretariat and other offices of the Board ''where the attendance was full''.
All the Thermal and Hydro Generation Plants functioned normally and smoothly as PSEB had made elaborate arrangements to maintain regular power supply to all its consumers in the state, Mr Ratra said.
