CSL delivers platform supply vessel "Sea Turbot"

Kochi, Aug 20 (UNI) Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has delivered another platform supply vessel Ship named ''Sea Turbot'' to Deep Sea Supply of Norway.

The protocol documents were signed by CSL Executive Director C K Thomas and Mr Kjell Karlsen of the Deep Sea Supply, according to an official release here today.

This is the seventh of a series of eight ships, being built for this owner and the first ship of the series was delivered in January 2007. The four ships, viz Sea Halibut, Sea Angler, Sea Pike and Sea Bass, were delivered in 2007-08 and Sea Pollock in 2008-09.

Presently, CSL is constructing 20 other offshore vessels for European and American clients, valued at over Rs 3000 crore, besides the Air Defence Ship for the Navy.
