407 fruit trucks left valley, 755 load carriers arrived in Kashmir
Srinagar, Aug 20 (UNI) As many as 407 trucks laden with fresh fruit left the valley for Jammu and other parts of the country during last 24 hours.
During the same period 755 trucks carrying essential commodities and fuel entered the valley from Jammu.
According to a spokesman of the Divisional Administration, of the 755 load carriers that entered the valley during last 24 hours, 191 trucks carried rice, 25 flour, 22 sheep, 14 chicken, 78 diesel, 30 petrol, 57 kerosene oil, 34 LPG.
He said 663 load carriers left the valley for onward journey to Jammu and other parts of the country during the same period.
As many as 48 trucks laden with vegetables, 137 empty tankers and 71 other trucks also left the valley for Jammu in the same period, the spokesman added.
