Unichem Lab gets USFDA approval for Hydrochlorothiazide tablets
New Delhi, Aug 19 (UNI) Unichem Laboratories today said it has received the approval from US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for Hydrochlorothiazide tablets in the strengths of 25 mg and 50 mg.
Recently, the company had received the USFDA approval for its formulations plant situated at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
Hydrochlorothiazide treats fluid retention (edema) in people with congestive heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver, or kidney disorders, or edema caused by taking steroids or estrogen, a company statement said.
