Two pilgrims drowned in Bhima river

Gulbarga, Aug 19 (UNI) The bodies of the two pilgrims, who came from Hyderabad and drowned at the Sangam of Bhima and its tributary Amarja river yesterday at Ganagapur in Azzalpur taluk in the district, were recovered here today.

Police said that two pilgrims who had come from Hyderabad went for taking holy dip near Sangam in the river were drowned.

The bodies of the deceased were retrieved from the river and sent to Hyderabad who were identified as Pawan (22) and Suryanarayana (24) the sources added.
