'Talks between Chiranjeevi, Advani is not confined to weather'

New Delhi, Aug 19 (UNI) The BJP today described the conversation between Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi and party's Prime Ministerial nominee L K Advani as a ''courtesy call'' but hinted at a furtive relationship between the BJP and the cinestar's yet-to-be-born political outfit.

Asked to comment on the conversation held yesterday, BJP spokesman Ravi Shankar Prasad said, ''when the two leaders of such stature speak one can't expect the dialogue to be confined to weather. He is a superstar enjoying the confidence of large sections of people in Andhra Pradesh whereas Mr Advani is a great political leader.'' To a question if the BJP wanted to expand its NDA allies, Mr Prasad said expanding the political base by bringing in new allies to the coalition was a continuous process but not discounting the possibility of roping in more allies in both pre-poll and post-poll alliances.
