Police on lookout for bomb threat caller
Coimbatore, Aug 19 (UNI) The City Police are in search of a man who informed the city police control room about two train passengers discussing planting bombs at Coimbatore today Police said Abdulla, working in an advertisement company in Chennai, called up the control room this morning.
He was returning to his native place of Pollachi from Chennai by Blue Mountain Express in S 6 compartment.
He saw two persons in nearby seats who discussed planting bombs in the city and sought his help for the work.
The duo told him they would be staying at Sigma Lodge near the Railway Station.
Police said they received similar phone calls from public booths in Coimbatore and Pollachi. It was found there was no lodge in the name of Sigma. However further investigations were on.
