Pakistan: Blast in Peshawar kills twenty

Peshawar, Aug 19: 20 dead in the blast in NW Pakistani Hospital. A bomb blasted in the compound of a hospital in northwest Pakistan on Tuesday, Aug 19 killing twenty people. Officials said that it is not clear whether the incident was a suicide attack or not.

Supporters of a Shi'ite Muslim leader were protesting outside the hospital in the town of Dera Ismail Khan when the bomb went off. The Shi'ite leader was shot dead earlier on Tuesday, Aug 19 and his body taken to the hospital.
