Lupin alliances with Forest Labs for marketing 'Aero Chamber' in US

New Delhi, Aug 19 (UNI) Pharmaceutical company Lupin Ltd today said it has entered into a multi-year agreement with US-based Forest Laboratories Inc for promotion and marketing of Aero Chamber Plus line of products.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Mumbai-based company's US subsidiary Lupin Pharmaceuticals Inc will utilise 50 person sales force to promote the product to paediatricians.

Aero Chamber Plus is a Valved Holding Chanmber (VHC) device that is used with metered dose inhalers to improve the delivery of medications to the lungs in the treatment of asthama.

''This device is the most widely prescribed holding chamber in the United States and has been used by millions of patients since its introduction,'' company said in a statement.

This alliance will extend Lupins presence in the respiratory segment and help strengthen its franchise with paediatricians, it added.
