Heavy rain lashes Kolkata, suburbs

Kolkata, Aug 19 (UNI) Heavy rain lashed the city and its adjoining areas today throwing life out of gear.

Forecasting generally cloudy sky with possibility of moderate to heavy rains during next 24 hours the local Met office recorded 1.7 mm rainfall so far.

The weathermen recorded the maximum temperature at 32.1 degree Celsius while the minimum was pegged at 27.4 degree Celsius.
