Christie Brinkley understands messy publicized splits

New York, Aug 19 : Former model Christie Brinkley has stated that she totally understands messy public splits.

The die-hard Democrat former model revealed that she was devastated to hear John Edwards' public confession he cheated on his cancer-stricken wife, Elizabeth.

"I've met him, and I've met his lovely wife, and this is devastating news, but I don't want to go there!" New York Post quoted Brinkley

Brinkley, who has earlier been married to Peter Cook does not intend to talk about her own her marital life as well but she makes it clear that she has no intentions of getting married again.
