Young man commits suicide over fake case
Sangrur, Aug 18 (UNI) A youth, allgedly upset over a fake complaint registered against him by a local lottery vendor, today committed suicide at his Malerkotla residence here.
Musavvar Qureshi, 26, who apparently died after consuming some poisonous substance, alleged in the suicide note found by police in his pocket, that Ajay had recently registered a fake case of fraud against him in police.
Qureshi further alleged that Ajay was pressurising him to transfer his house in Ajay's name to get the case withdrawn.
This mental torture, Qureshi alleged, had forced him to take the extreme step.
Police have now registered a case undr 306 IPC against Ajay, who was absconding.
