TN CM suggests Centre to resolve Amarnath temple crisis
Chennai, Aug 18 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M Karunanidhi has given his suggestions to the Centre to resolve the Amarnath land rowis, a burning issue in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a brief chat with newspersons, Mr Karunanidhi said he had given his suggestions to the appropriate authority on this issue.
Asked whether he has given any suggestion to break the impasse as the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre was in a crisis, Mr Karunanidhi said ''I have given my suggestion to whomsoever concerned''.
The Chief Minister pleaded ignorance when asked about AIADMK General Secretary J Jayalalithaa's prediction of political realignment in the State after coming from her four-month long- sojourn in Kodanadu in Nilgiris district.
Mr Karunanidhi expressed his happiness, when he was told that his announcement regarding special time scale of pay for Noon-meal Anganwadi workers was widely welcomed in the State.
