Swede student's 61 sec. 141-character SMS record
New Delhi, August 18 : Writing a 141-character SMS in just 61 seconds has won a 17-year-old student the Swedish text messaging championship.
My Svensson's nearest rival took seven seconds more than her to type the same message during the competition held in Stockholm.
Svensson, however, could not surpass her personal best of 50 seconds, which she achieved during the semi-finals, reports China Daily.
"I was very tense in the finals when I realized how much money I could win. Everyone was talking about how much money was at stake," Svensson said.
She said that she would use her 25,000 krona prize for a trip to France next year, after she graduates from high school.
The girl has a special training schedule to become the fastest Swedish in text messaging, which involves sending 40 to 50 texts a day to her three best friends.
