SIMI activist arrested
Indore, Aug 18(UNI) An activist of banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) has been arrested here last night and is being interrogated, police said today.
Confirming the arrest of a local resident, Indore's Inspector General of Police Anil Kumar, however, said it was not appropriate to divulge details at present.
Gujarat police, which exposed the involvement of SIMI in the recent serial blasts, is also probing into the SIMI links in Madhya Pradesh.
