RBI assigns lead bank in new districts of Madhya Pradesh

Mumbai, Aug 18 (UNI) The Reserve bank of India has decided to assign the Lead Bank responsibility of the new Districts of Alirajpur and Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh to Bank of Baroda and Union Bank of India respectively.

RBI, in a notification here, said the Lead Bank responsibility of the reorganised Jhabua and Sidhi districts will, however, continue to be with the Bank of Baroda and Union Bank of India respectively as hitherto.

There is no change in the lead bank responsibilities of other districts in the State.
