Pondy CM, Edu Minister call on Lt Governor

Puducherry, Aug 18 (UNI) Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy, along with Education Minister M O H F Shajahan, today called on Lt Governor Govind Singh Gurjar at Rajnivas here against the backdrop of the administrative crisis prevailing in the Union Territory following a ''tussle'' between the Chief Minister and his Cabinet colleagues.

According to official sources, Chief Secretary (in-charge) Naini Jayaseelan and Secretary to the Lt Governor Kumarasamy were also present at the meeting.

The Chief Minister and the Lt. Governor had discussions on administrative matters for about one hour, the sources added.
