Peaches Geldof got married due to dead mum's grief, says sister

London, Aug 18 : Peaches Geldof married American rocker Max Drummey because she is still scarred from the death of her mother, according to the teen's sister Pixie.

The 19-year-old tied the knot with Drummey in Las Vegas last week, despite only dating for one month.

And Pixie believes the marriage is because Peaches' depression following the death of their mother Paula Yates.

"She's got problems just like all of us have about what happened to my mum," The sun quoted her, as saying.

"I've been in therapy not long ago and she has had a hard time.

"That's why she has done drugs and why this wedding happened too. We're all depressed in our family," she added.

Yates died of an accidental heroin overdose in 2000 when Peaches was 11-years-old.
