One gets lifer for rape and murder
Jamui, Aug 18 (UNI) A fast track court awarded life imprisonment to one Kedar Manjhi in connection with rape and murder of a minor girl here today.
The accused along with his four accomplices had abducted the minor daughter of one Lalji Ravidas from Madhopur village under Sikandra block on August 22, 2002 and took her to the nearby Belwatand village where they gangraped and killed her.
Of the five accused, four were absconding.
