One dead, 20 injured in Jammu road accidents
Jammu Aug 18 (UNI) One person diad and 20 others sustained injuries in different road accidents in Jammu for the last 24 hours, official sources here said.
''One person identified as Rajesh Kumar, resident of Ghari Rehmbal in Udhampur district met with an accident near Ghari,'' police sources said.
He was immediately shifted to the nearby hospital but succumbed, doctors declared him brought dead, they said.
Meanwhile at least 20 people got injured in different road accidents and were admitted to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu, the police added.
However, a truck driver identified as Bashir Ahmad, resident of Dangerpora Budgam was injured when his truck, enroute from Jammu to Lakhanpur, was stone pelted at Kali Bari Bridge in Kathua district.
