Old woman immolates self

Madikeri, Karnataka, Aug 18 (UNI) An 80 year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by setting herself ablaze at Armeri Village on August 16.

According to delayed reports reaching here, Poyyetira Ponnava, a widow, was disillusioned with life.

She piled up firewood around her in the front yard of her house, poured kerosene on her body and set herself afire.
