LeT email threatens blast at Engineering College

Murshidabad, Aug 18 (UNI) An email, allegedly from the banned Lashkar-e-Toiba received this morning at the Behrampore Engineering College here, threatened to blow up the college campus.

Behrampore Engineering College Principal Rabin Mukherjee confirming the incident said, ''The email threatens to blast the premises of the engineering college.'' The matter has been reported to the Behrampore police station and is being investigated, police said.

Security personnel have been deployed at the college premises and search operations were on to prevent any untoward incident, police added.
