I will prove majority in House, Koda
Ranchi, Aug 18 (UNI) Jahrkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda today said he would prove his majority in the floor of the House.
Mr Koda after a Cabinet meeting rushed to Raj Bhavan at 1700 hrs and called on Governor Syed Sibtey Razi.
After the meeting, Mr Koda told reporters here that he was informed by the Governor of the latest political situation following Jharkhand Mukti Morcha's letter withdrawing support to his government.
The Koda-led UPA government was yesterday reduced to a minority after the JMM with 17 MLAs withdrew support.
Mr Koda said as the monsoon session is scheduled to be held on September 19, hence he would prove his majority in the House.
However, it was the Governor's prerogative to decide on the matter, Mr Koda said.
