Congress' Benaqab Yatra to expose Raman govt: Sahu
Raipur, Aug 18 (UNI) Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee President Dhanendra Sahu today claimed that an anti-incumbency wave will be created against the BJP government-led by Dr Raman Singh by the 10-day-long 'Benaqab Yatra' to be taken out by the Congress from four places in the state on August 20.
''There is anguish among the people against the state government and it will be increased by exposing the government before the public,'' Mr Sahu told UNI here.
He said that senior leaders of the party would address the meetings to be held during the yatra.
Refuting that 'Gaddi Chodo Yatra', which was started from August 10 by the Congress against the BJP government, was a flop, he said that this programme evoked good response.
''In 'Gaddi Chodo Yatra' demonstrations and dharnas are being organised at block level,'' he said.
Putting party on election mode, the Pradesh Congress Committee has appointed 18 spokespersons three months ahead of state Assembly elections, he added.
