Communal harmony day on August 20

Bhopal, Aug 18(UNI) Former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's birth anniversary on August 20 will be observed as 'communal harmony day' across Madhya Pradesh.

All government employees will be administered a pledge to maintain communal day at 1100 on that day, an official spokesman said.

''Communal harmony fortnight'' will be observed in the state from August 20 to September 3 to promote communal amity and unity.
