Chiru's close aide dead

Hyderabad, Aug 18 (UNI) Hours after actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi announced his plunge into politics, his close friend Hari Prasad passed away, following a heart attack.

While appearing on the prime time news of a TV channel, Prasad had suffered a cardiac attack last night. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment.

Prasad (55) was Chiranjeevi's classmate at Madras Film Institute and had essayed roles in over 100 movies. He had also produced some of Chiranjeevi's blockbuster movies.

The actor-turned-politician visited him at the hospital.
